Privacy Notice

This notice explains what happens to your personal data when you visit this page or join LOAD Club. It covers this early-access page only — when the LOAD shop opens, it will have its own notice covering orders and payments.

01 Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is:

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. Our processing is small in scale and does not require one under Article 37 GDPR.

02 What we collect

• Your email address — only if you type it in and submit the LOAD Club form. Nothing else on this page asks for personal data.
• A record of your consent — the date and time you signed up and the exact wording you agreed to. We keep this so we can show your consent was properly obtained, as Article 7(1) GDPR requires.
• Standard server data — like any website, our host records technical details of requests, including your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. We do not use this to identify you.

03 Why, and on what legal basis

Sending you LOAD Club emails

To tell you when LOAD launches, send your discount code, and share occasional product news. Legal basis: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time — see section 7.

Keeping a record of that consent

To meet our accountability obligation. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Running and protecting the site

Server data is processed to keep the page available and to prevent abuse of the signup form. Legal basis: our legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, in operating a working and secure website.

04 What we don’t do

Worth stating plainly, because it is unusual:

• No cookies. This page sets none at all — which is why you were not asked to accept any.
• No analytics or tracking. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording, no third-party fonts or scripts. Your browser contacts no one but us.
• No profiling and no automated decision-making as defined in Article 22 GDPR.
• We never sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

05 Who else handles your data

We use two service providers, which act as processors on our instructions under Article 28 GDPR. They may not use your data for their own purposes.

• Vercel Inc. (United States) — hosts this page and runs the signup endpoint.
• Resend, Inc. (United States) — delivers the signup notification and, later, LOAD Club emails.

Because both are based in the United States, your data is transferred outside the EEA. Those transfers are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the provider is certified, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a public authority acting within its powers.

06 How long we keep it

• Your email address and consent record: until you withdraw consent or ask us to delete it. If LOAD has not launched within 24 months of your signup, we delete it without being asked.
• Server data: kept only as long as our host retains its standard logs — a short period measured in weeks, not years.

07 Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Withdraw consent at any time. This is the quickest route: every LOAD Club email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the emails immediately. Withdrawing does not affect anything we lawfully sent beforehand.
• Access your data and get a copy of it.
• Rectify it if it is wrong or out of date.
• Erase it — the “right to be forgotten”.
• Restrict or object to our processing.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To use any of these, email [ADD CONTACT EMAIL]. We answer within one month, as Article 12(3) GDPR requires. We will not charge you or make you justify the request.

08 If you are unhappy

Please contact us first — most things are quickest to fix directly. You also have the right to complain to the Czech supervisory authority at any time:

09 Children

LOAD Club is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up, tell us and we will delete the record.

10 Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and raise the version number at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
